A conceptual intro sequence for Christopher Nolan's Inception. Iconic character totems were modeled with precise attention to form and scale, then animated to evoke the film's suspended, dreamlike tone. In dreams, objects carry impossible weight. These totems are anchors between reality and illusion.

The totems are not treated as props but as small systems of belief. Each one reduces a character to a single gesture, material, and silhouette, so that personality survives even when the figure is removed. Modeling became a way of deciding what the dream is allowed to remember.

The animation keeps the objects suspended between demonstration and hallucination. Slow rotations, measured pauses, and abrupt shifts in scale make the sequence feel less like a catalogue and more like a memory trying to stabilise itself. Every frame builds a threshold: the object is precise enough to be read, yet strange enough to remain unresolved. The intro does not explain the dream; it prepares the viewer to enter it.
